This course will give participants:

  • A deeper understanding around the issues that relate to student and staff mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing

  • Practical skills to spot the early signs of mental health ill health

  • Confidence to signpost someone to support – whether that’s through self-help resources, university counselling services, the NHS, or a mix

  • Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness​

Format:

  • One day face to face course or live online sessions (2 x 4 hour, or 4 x 2 hour)

  • Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities

  • Numbers are limited to 16 people per course 

 

Everyone who completes the course gets:

  • A certificate of attendance 

  • A manual to refer to whenever you need it

  • A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health

Corporate bookings:

Prices start at £1185 per course, depending on the training location. 

This includes MHFA England registration, course manuals and workbooks.
