Mental Health First Aiders can keep their skills up to date by enrolling on the Mental Health Refresher course.

MHFA England recommends that Mental Health First Aiders attend a Mental Health Refresher course every three years. 

​

The course will empower participants to: 

• Renew their skills

• Update their knowledge of mental health and what influences it 

• Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan

• Access three years of MHFAider® Support and Benefits

Format:

• Four hour course delivered either face to face or online

• Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities

• Numbers are limited to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn​

​

Everyone who completes the course gets:

• A certificate of attendance

• A combined manual and workbook

• 3 year support package

Prices start at £855 per course, depending on the training location.
